Loop overview
Plan โ build โ test โ rebuild.
Voxel Playground is an open creative sandbox, so it does not force a single progression path. The loop on this page is our recommended way to create your own sense of progress.
- 01Plan
Pick a shape, purpose, or destruction question that can be tested clearly.
- 02Build
Use blocks to create the main structure, working from broad form toward detail.
- 03Test or blow up
Inspect the finished build, then use TNT if destruction is part of the experiment.
- 04Rebuild
Keep one lesson from the result and change one important part of the next version.
Plan
Give each build one job.
A clear objective turns an unlimited sandbox into a focused session. Decide whether you are practicing a silhouette, experimenting with color, adding detail, or preparing a destruction test.
- Can I recognize the intended shape from a distance?
- Am I learning form, detail, or destruction in this run?
- What single result will tell me whether the test was useful?
Build
Make the big decisions before the tiny ones.
The creator describes blocks as the building material. A helpful working order is base, silhouette, major color areas, then small details. This is a recommended technique, not an official rule.
When the main form is readable without the details, later edits are easier and the result of a TNT test is easier to compare.
Test and rebuild
The result is information, not the end.
The official description invites players to buy TNT and blow up what they build. Before doing that, inspect the intact version. After the test, decide what the result suggests about the next design.
- Repeat the same shape at a different scale.
- Change the arrangement while keeping the overall idea.
- Preserve the silhouette but improve the details.
- Repeat a test while changing only one part of the setup.
No test method on this page claims a hidden damage formula, block strength, or exact TNT behavior. Those details were not confirmed by the official listing.
